THE DIGITAL STEPPING STONES concept is to introduce Digital Making education to the Ghanaian School System focusing on Physical Computing and promote digital capabilities.
With the use of purpose-built affordable computers, we teach children how to develop games, create programs, design web pages and develop apps.
Furthermore, we design professional development training programs and provide other services to enhance the digital capabilities of organizations.
Children will be learning what algorithms are, and taking their first steps in using devices to “work with digital content”.
Children will be creating and debugging more complicated programs and developing their logical reasoning skills
Studentds will be using programming languages – “at least one of which is textual” – to create their own programs.
Young people now desperately long for the skills to build apps, design games, write computer programs, create robotic innovations, build websites and compete in the digital world.
